Physician, of Whitehouse, Readington Township, Hunterdon County, New Jersey; born in Princeton, New Jersey, February 18, 1789; studied medicine under John Van Cleve of Princeton; graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, 1811; licensed by the Medical Society of New Jersey in 1811 and moved to Whitehouse the same year; remained in Whitehouse throughout his life and died there, January 13, 1867.
